Asia Water 2014

19 – 21 March | Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Overview

Malaysia has experienced problems with the discharge of untreated sewage, particularly along the west coast. Malaysia’s water pollution problem also extends to its rivers, of which 40 percent are polluted. An emphasis has recently been put on environmental technologies after the Prime minister announced his plans for environmental clean-up by 2020. Considering this, many potential opportunities exist for companies with expertise in environmental cleanup, especially areas focused on water treatment and air pollution. Asia Water 2014 is the largest water event in Southeast Asia and will be an important event for any company wishing to establish themselves in the Malaysian water market.
