In this second installment of the Force Main Condition Assessment webcast series, case studies will be shared of municipalities that have successfully implemented condition assessment programs and developed overall effective management of their collection system infrastructure. Case studies include:

  • Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati’s (MSDGC) condition assessment approach developed for the Pleasant Run Central Force Main (PRCFM), a 24-inch diameter spiral welded steel and ductile iron force main extending for approximately 6,900 linear feet.
  • How the City of Virginia Beach, one of thirteen localities served by the Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD), was fully engaged in the assessment and mitigation measures to determine and correct critical points of concern within their 190 miles of force mains.

Session Recording

  Speakers:
  • Kate Nixon, City of Virginia Beach
  • Peter Oram, Associate Vice President, AECOM
  • Greg J. Osthues, P.E., Executive Vice President, Water Division, ARCADIS
  • Mattie Engels, Senior Project Manager, Pipeline Analysis, LLC (Moderator)

Part 3: Virtual Panel Discussion

September 10th, 2014   1:00 - 3:00 pm Eastern
