Fundamentals of Membrane Bioreactors Part 2: MBR Process Design and Operation

May 16, 2012   1:00 - 3:00 pm Eastern  

Building on the fundamentals provided in Part I, the second webcast will present methodology and considerations for completing an MBR process design.  All significant components in an MBR flow sheet will be covered including pretreatment, biological treatment, membrane separation, post-treatment and residuals.  The translation of the MBR process design into implications for process operation will also be discussed including design and operation for optimizing energy efficiency.

Fundamentals of Membrane Bioreactors Part 3: Equipment Procurement, Facility Design and Equipment Operation

The final webcast will present considerations for facility design and construction of MBRs including system configuration and layout, equipment and materials. Approaches for equipment procurement for MBR systems will also be presented and the interaction of equipment procurement with overall project design, construction, commissioning and operation will be discussed. Sponsorship for this webcast is provided by JWC Environmental.
