Automation and Information Technology Committee

The WEF Automation and Information Technology Committee develops, recommends, supports, and conducts continuing assessments of technologies and techniques to promote the overall understanding of the application of process instrumentation, control equipment and automation, and computers and telecommunications to the management of information in the water environment. The volunteer members of the Committee:

1. Develop workshops and moderate technical sessions each year at WEFTEC;
2. Author articles for WEF's technical journals; and
3. Provide comments to WEF Government Affairs on Federation Position Statements and U.S. government regulations and policies.
