WEFMAX is unlike any other meeting providing the members of the House of Delegates, MA Leaders, and WEF Staff an opportunity to meet, discuss challenges, and share successes.

VWEA has blocked a limited number of hotel rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel with a special rate per night of $139 single/double occupancy plus city, state, and hotel tax currently at 14% plus $1.00 per room per night occupancy tax.  This rate is only available until 5:00 pm local time on Monday, March 16, 2015.  Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations by contacting the hotel directly.  When making a reservation, please advise the hotel you are booking under the "WEF" group

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with Virginia Beach Hilton Inna major credit card.  In order to avoid a cancellation fee of 1 night room and tax for an individual reservation, the hotel must receive notification of cancellation no later than 5 pm, five days before arrival date of the reservation.  Credit identification will be required from each individual at check-in, in order that these charges may be billed to the individual's account.  Based on availability, the hotel will offer room rates two days before and after the event.  Rooms vacated prior to reservation check-out will result in early departure fee of one night's room and tax at check-out.

WEDNESDAY HOST SOCIAL:  To be held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Lager Heads.  There will be a cash bar and appetizers will be provided. 

THURSDAY WEFMAX SOCIAL:  To be held on Thursday, April 16 at the Virginia Aquarium with dinner and music.

Self-parking for overnight guests is complimentary.  Valet parking for overnight guests is available at the rates of $16 per car.  Parking for individuals attending a meeting, or function is available at the prevailing rates established by the city of Virginia Beach.  These rates are subject to change without prior notification.

The hotel requires that arrangements for de3livery of packages be made through the Hotel's Sales & Catering Office.  All materials being sent to the hotel must include the following information:

The Hotel is near the exclusive north end of the Virginia Boardwalk strip offering retail, dining, parks, and live music.  The Boardwalk runs for 3 miles where you can swim, surf, jet ski, and rent bikes.  Other points of interest are:
- Neptune's Park - located 2 blocks away
- 31 Ocean - Boardwalks best shopping area
- Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center - The center includes 800,000 gallons of exhibits

Temperature ranges from an average high of 66 degrees to a night low of 46 degrees with an average of 1.4 inches of rain for the month of April.
