What we learned from sharing information with each other on...
Develop business relationships with other MAs - could help with revenue sharing; focus on education and training; lobbying governmental agencies; participation between MAs in holding workships and seminars; pursue partnerships with non-conventional groups; modify the boundaries of the MAs as an extreme option to recruit members; long term succession planning.  Important to educate members on what your organization is and what it offers.

Arkansas shared their struggle with membership recruitment. WEF to work with Arkansas WEA as a pilot program to create a tool kit to help get the word out to members on the value of bleing a member of the AWEA.

This committee was created to bring the construction side issues and insights that effect project success to the members of the organization; committee looks at ways to provide education to AZ Water members on different project delivery methods and construction challenges and solutions; Creates a construction track at annual conference; AZ WAter has seen an increase in membership.
