WEFMAX is unlike any other meeting providing the members of the House of Delegates, MA Leaders, and WEF Staff an opportunity to meet, discuss challenges, and share successes.

MWEA has blocked a limited number of hotel rooms at the Sheraton Suite Country Club Plaza with a special rate per night of $149 king suite / single/double occupancy plus city, state, and hotel tax currently at 15.85% plus a resort charge of $1.75.  This rate is only available until 5:00 pm local time on Monday, March 30, 2015.  Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations by contacting the hotel directly.  When making a reservation, please advise the hotel you are booking under the "Missouri WEA" group.

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.  In order to avoid a cancellation fee of 1 night room and tax for an individual reservation, the hotel must receive notification of cancellation no later than 5 PM, three days (72 hrs.) before arrival date of the reservation.  Credit identification will be required from each individual at check-in, in order that these charges may be billed to the individual's account.  Based on availability, the hotel will offer rates two days prior to and two days after the event.  Rooms vacated prior to reservation check-out will result in early departure fee of $50 at check-out.  Check-in time is 3:00 PM | Check-out time is 12:00 PM.

THURSDAY WEFMAX SOCIAL: Blues, Brews and BBQ - Boulevard Brewery

KC NLBM Negro Leagues Baseball Museum - Located in the Historic 18th & Vine Jazz District of Kansas City, this 10,000 square-foot exhibition features interactive displays, multi-media computer stations, several film exhibits, hundreds of photographs telling the history and story of Negro leagues baseball in the United States.

College Basketball Experience (CBE) and National College Basketball Hall of Fame - College Basketball Experience is not a museum.  It is a high-energy, highly-interactive venue where casual and hard core fans of any age can totally immerse themselves in the game of college basketball.  In the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, visitors learn about the great players and coaches who have made significant contributions to men's collegiate basketball.  Visitors will rediscover seminal moments in college basketball.  CBE includes hands-on, high-energy exhibits throughout the facility that place visitors in electrifying game-like situations, from sinking the game-winning shot to announcing the play-by-play action from the ESPN broadcast desk.

KC WWI Museum National World War I Museum - The Museum was designated by Congress as the nation's official World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial is America's only museum dedicated to sharing the stories of the Great War through the eyes of those who lived it.  Interactive displays, thought-provoking films and eyewitness testimonies help guide visitors through one of the largest collections of WWI artifacts in the world.
