Manager, Association Engagement – Students and Young Professionals

Position manages the Students & Young Professionals program. Serves as liaison to Young Professionals Committee and coordinator and facilitator for planning a variety of Students & Young Professionals activities. Engages with WEF staff, WEF volunteer leaders, committee members, contractors and vendors, and WEF members.

Some specific responsibilities include:

  • Plans, executes, coordinates and administers all aspects of the Students & Young Professionals activities and serves as a resource. 
  • Assists the Association Engagement team with Member Association (MA) activities and seeks opportunities to engage YPs in WEF and MA activities. 
  • Ensures that all program materials and website information are current, accurate, and programs are adequately promoted through WEF publications and the website. 
  • Tracks and keeps event/meetings within budget, ensures details and materials are planned as appropriate and work is executed to meet deadlines and objectives. 
  • Ensures that databases and other forms of electronic documentation and tracking are accurate and reports meet needs and are timely. 
  • Travels to multiple meetings annually. 

Qualified candidates will have the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • 3+ years relevant experience required 
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, database management and web content management 
  • Ability to work under pressure, produce quality work, and meet deadlines for multiple projects 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; written/verbal communication; and collaboration skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills
