Water Environment & Technology Wins Second Award Distinction
WEF’s Flagship Magazine Receives AZBEE Bronze Award for Technical Article  

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The Water Environment Federation’s (WEF) flagship magazine, Water Environment & Technology (WE&T), has received an AZBEE Bronze Award for Technical Article – Revenue under $2M from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE). This Bronze Award, the second prestigious distinction garnered by the publication this year, was for “Ironing out the Impacts of Industrial Wastewater,” an article appearing in the November 2011 issue of WE&T.

“It is an honor to receive this award,” said Melissa Jackson, WEF senior director of communications and creative services. “Our WE&T staff works very hard to produce top quality publications for water professionals, and we are delighted their efforts have been recognized with one of the most prestigious awards in the publishing industry.”

ASBPE’s AZBEE Awards of Excellence program is one of the most competitive there is for business-to-business, trade, association, and professional publications. The awards recognize outstanding work by magazines, newsletters, and digital media, including websites, e-newsletters, digital magazines, and blogs.
