Clean Water Is Always in Season

As we think about finding the perfect gift this holiday season, let's not forget about water. According to WHO/UNICEF, 37 percent of the developing world's population - 2.5 billion people - lack improved sanitation facilities, and over 780 million people still use unsafe drinking water sources. That's a chance to give men, women, children, and babies all over the world a truly meaningful gift.
Water for People, a WEF charity of choice, and the American Red Cross in the wake of Hurricane Sandy and other disasters, are two wonderful opportunities to improve lives and health. It feels good to give, and your holiday donation will help make precious water resources available to those in need. In fact, water's a necessity anytime, and automatic payroll deductions for a worthy water cause might be an easy way to keep helping throughout the year.
Clean water is always in season and no one knows that better than water quality professionals. Thank you for all you do to make the world a better, cleaner place. And thanks for considering charitable giving as another way to help share the resource we hold so dear.
Peace and happiness to you all in the coming year.
