Sharing the Precious Gift of Water

As we celebrate this special season with families and friends, decking the halls with holiday greenery, hanging colorful lights and decorations, and cooking our favorite holiday foods, it’s important to remember that water really helps to make all this happen. We depend on clean and safe water to survive and maintain our quality of life, whether we are baking cookies, picking out the tree, or hoping for a sleigh ride. And yet billions of men, women, and children around the world do not even have access to this most basic and essential resource. You can help change that.

In the spirit of this most joyous time of the year, why not donate to Water For People and empower people to build and maintain their own reliable and safe water systems? Your donation to WFP, a WEF charity of choice, can help transform lives by improving health and economic productivity to end the cycle of poverty. Please consider sharing the precious gift of water with those in need through WFP--and warm wishes for a happy and peaceful holiday season from the Water Environment Federation!
