IWRN Seventh Inter-American Dialogue on Water Management

The Seventh Inter-American Dialogue on Water Management (D7) will be the most prominent water encounter in the region for 2011, gathering a wide myriad of sectors, government officials, nacional and international cooperation agency representatives, stakeholders, and practitioners in water management in the Americas.  Organized by the Government of Colombia and the Inter-American Water Resources Network (IWRN), in cooperation with numerous national and international agencies, civil society organizations, academic and research institutions, and the private sector, the D7 will address the need to evolve towards an inter-generation dialogue to embrace water management challenges beyond sectoral barriers that we have built in recent generations.  For this reason, the D7 seeks to establish an inter-generational compromise to take care of water.
