The chemical phosphorus removal webinar is part one of the three part phosphorus removal series. It will cover fundamentals and terminology of phosphorus removal in general. Then, it will evaluate and review of chemistry and chemical choices, chemical phosphorus removal evaluation tools, and design features of chemical phosphorus removal systems. The chemical selection considers chemical dose, removal efficiency, alkalinity consumption, UVT impacts, operator requirements, and cost. The design evaluation will review storage options, dosing equipment, dosing points, mixing, solids separation, and residuals management.
