This thickening webinar will present the reasons and benefits for thickening primary and waste activated solids as well as present thickening technologies grouped by three different modes of thickening: gravity/settling, flotation and filtration. The intent of this webinar is to provide a high level introduction to thickening technologies, providing the science behind the modes of thickening, the system components of the thickening equipment, typical design basis, operating conditions and performance as well as the types of solids that the technologies are best suited for. Additionally the webinar will present the operational perspective, normal and abnormal operations and high level O&M considerations.
