WEF Director of Creative Projects Lori Harrison blogs about a new one-stop-shop for Water’s Worth It merchandise and other WEF products.
If you need some gift ideas for the holiday season and beyond, we invite you to check out the WEF Marketplace, an exciting new customer-friendly service that provides quick access to WEF books and training materials while enabling you to order, customize, and print a growing selection of products. Our initial launch includes a cool selection of WATER’S WORTH IT t-shirts, water bottles, pilsner glasses, umbrellas, and banners, in addition to other WEF products like bill stuffers.
In the new year, we’ll be optimizing WEF Marketplace based on your feedback about the system’s functionality as well as print-on-demand items. And throughout 2019, WEF will continue to look for ways to involve members and other users to build out the service and expand a product line that reflects the priorities and needs of today’s water professional. Current plans include additional products for WATER’S WORTH IT, public education, WEF membership, and the Utility of the Future Today Recognition Program.
In addition to the new marketplace and merchandise line, WEF plans to add new resources such as French and Spanish translations to the free online WATER’S WORTH IT toolkit later this year. Available for download at www.WatersWorthIt.org, these high-impact resources – fact sheets, social media graphics, full- and half-page ads, logos, and the Why Water’s Worth It video PSA – are all designed to help you be a more effective water communicator.
Please stop by the WEF Marketplace today, pick up some gear for the new year, and help spread the word about water’s worth! And a happy and healthy holiday season to water professionals everywhere!
