On July 3rd, Scott Pruitt resigned as EPA Administrator and on July 9th, Andrew Wheeler, EPA’s No. 2 official, took over as acting administrator. Wheeler is a former Senate EPW staffer for Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK).
“I look forward to working hard alongside EPA employees to continue our collective goal of protecting public health and the environment on behalf of the American people,” Wheeler said in a statement.
